Many granting agencies are particular that their grant money should be spent wisely as they do not want to give away money just like that for careless missions when there are so many projects and persons (genuine) waiting to get the precious money for their growth and in turn for the growth of the country’s economy.
Many grants are set with certain intentions (for education or small business or research or investments or money) that it is offered to only certain citizens. Grants are provided to for supporting a particular cause so that the benefit is passed on to many. Many of the grantors like to know who would be spending the money, for what cause, why, how and the advantageous outcome of the project. Hence the grant proposal should clarify the above points in the form of request.
Before sending the grant proposal the applicant can find out about the granting agency, what they expect from the applicants and how the grant proposal can fit their specifications and then frame accordingly and send the grant proposal. Grant proposal would grab the attention of the reader when it is written in a powerful manner. Since the panel members might have extensive or less experience the grant proposal should be written effectively so that it is understood by all.
A well examined, economical and conscientious business plan would be persuasive as it would be considered as a constructive tool supporting the applicant and in the implementation process. Hence review panels would consider such grant proposals seriously and offer grants.
