Government Grant for Agriculture – Procedures and Eligibility

Grant also means funding, scholarship, endowment, allowance, contribution, donation, award, gift and bequest. Nowadays our government sanctions funds for development of villages at various fields. The Governments – both Central and States give various types of subsidies to various persons, associations and NGO’s for development of the economy of the country. We can take agriculture which is the main source of income for our country. Our government provides aid for its development.

Villagers’ main source of occupation is agriculture. They need funds to cope up with the new technology. Government gives land for those who don’t have. This land can be utilized by the people in many ways to cater to their day to day expenses.

The budget prepared by the Government will also have more focus on the field of agriculture. The government also tries to implement better technology in the field of agriculture to attain better production. This will help in the improvement of the economy.

The government is also taking initiatives to get machines at cheaper rates for planting and harvesting of crops. They also insist the farmers to adopt modern technology. This will help in better production within a short period of time.

Nowadays, people migrate from villages to city and the population for the occupation of agriculture is weakening. Government taps those villages and contributes manpower for agriculture which is the backbone of our country.

There are various fields which get grant from not only Government but also from institutions.
